Indian finished steel consumption rises for Apr

In April 2017, India's finished steel consumption totaled 6.01 million tons, grew by 3.4% compared with -the same period of last year, down by 22% compared with previous month.

According to statistics showed in April of this year, the national production of finished steel increased by8.7% to 8.43 million tons compared with previous month, declined by 8.6% compared with previous mon-th.

Meanwhile, SAIL, one of India's main steel producers, announced its finished steel productiongrew by 14.1% compared with the same period of last year.
